I – Information: Notice board, newsletters, parent library 3 & 4 year old cubbies.
S – Sun smart: Adopting safe sun smart practices – tops that cover the back and shoulders, broad brimmed hats that            cover the neck, face and ears; apply sunscreen; play in the shade.
B – Bag (small) – including a hat and a spare set of clothing. Please remember to label everything.
L – Learn through PLAY – by doing, listening and seeing, by experimenting and experiencing and interacting with                materials, the environment, each other and adults.
A – Able to assist families with 3 year olds that are not fully toilet trained.
C – Committee of Management members are elected at the AGM. Their role is to provide advice and guidance on                 matters relating to the effective management of the preschool.
K – Kinder fees are paid quarterly a fortnight before the commencement of the new term.
B – Build upon each child’s development – promoting the social and emotional; physical; cognitive and language skills          for each child.
U – Update the sign in book–children must be signed in and out of the centre each session.
R – Reflection book – a visual diary of the children interests and their participation within the 4 year old program.

N – Nut free preschool – children can have life threatening allergies. We recommend that foods containing nuts are not         allowed at the centre. An anaphylaxis policy is in place.
P – Planned program that is flexible responding to the current needs and interests of the children.
R – Roster duty – parents and carers are encouraged to assist staff to implement programs, selecting a day and time that        is suitable for them.
E – Excursions and incursions extend upon children’s interests and support activities within the program.  A weekly                Kindermusik program is provided for 4 year old groups.
S – Snack routines; encourage healthy snacks such as dips, sandwiches, fruit, vegetables, cheese, yogurt and water –          please label all containers.
C – Committed to providing an inclusive and supporting environment for children and their families.
H – Honourable reputation – strong foundation built over the years with committed and long serving staff.
O – Only allow your child in and out of the centre. Encourage safe entry and exit procedures when moving through gates       and doorways with your own children or children in your care.
O – Observe children; build on strengths and acknowledge challenges.
L – Library program for 4 year old groups.
